The end of the 2007 - 2008 u/13's season culminated with the 2008 tour to Moreton in Marsh

This years tour continued this seasons theme of challenging ourselves against the best teams. Saturday 3rd May Cirencester playeds hosts to ourselves and Braintree. The A's started with a win against Cirecester whilst the B's lost to a strong Braintree team. The second round of matches saw the A's lose by a single try to Braintree and the B's lost to Cirencester.

On Sunday the 4th May Cheltenham were our hosts, we knew we were going to face one of the strongest teams in the country Chletenham did not disappoint with an unbeaten record to protect and motivated by Saracens reptutation, Cheltenham played superb rugby in beating both our A and B squads. Both our teams were slightly under strength and sleep deprived, however, Cheltenhams play was at of a standard that would be difficult to match evenwith a full strength squad, which hopefully we will put to the test next season.

The match results did not reflect the success of the tour, with matches lost on the field victories were won in the clubhouse with many new friends made.

The tour culminated on Sunday with the annual players awards and congratulations go to:

Clubman of the year : Billy Huband Thompson

Player of the Tour ; James Isaac

'A' Squad Player of the season: Alastair Luftig

'A' Squad Most Improved Player: Tom Jeffrey

'B' Squad Player of the season ; Greg Collis

'B' Squad Most Improved Player: Emmett McCallion.
